VCRs that are working and in good usable condition are accepted for donation at some locations throughout the A2 Area Reuse Network. VCRs that are broken and not repairable are accepted for recycling as e-waste at the Drop-Off Station.
Recycle Right!
Do not put e-waste in your curbside recycling cart or trash. Electronics are made up of various materials such as glass, plastic, and metal, and often contain hazardous materials. Electronics must be collected separately to ensure proper disassembly and recycling of their component parts.
Choose Zero Waste!
Try to repair your broken electronics before replacing them. Repair services and resources are available in and around Washtenaw County, such as All Hands Active. Donating unwanted but still usable electronics instead of throwing them away or recycling them is the best way to ensure they get reused!
