What To Do With Return to A-Z Guide

Sporting goods

Sporting goods, such as tennis rackets, ice skates, baseball bats, golf clubs, baseballs, baseball gloves, hockey sticks, sports equipment, balls, etc., that are gently used, clean, and in good usable condition, are accepted for donation at locations throughout the A2 Area Reuse Network.

Recycle Right!

Do not put tennis balls, bowling balls, baseballs, or any type of sporting equipment in your curbside recycling cart. These materials are not recyclable and can jam up the machinery, causing damage and delays, and create unsafe conditions for our workers.

Choose Zero Waste!

Donating your old but still usable sports equipment instead of throwing it away is the best way to ensure it gets reused! Consider sharing or exchanging sports equipment with friends. You can also visit your local thrift store or Play It Again Sports to buy used items instead of purchasing new ones.
