Computers and laptops that are gently used and in good usable condition may be accepted for donation at some locations throughout the A2 Area Reuse Network. Computers and laptops that are broken and not repairable are accepted for recycling as e-waste at the Drop-Off Station.
Recycle Right!
Do not put computers or laptops in your curbside recycling cart or trash. Electronics are made up of various materials such as glass, plastic, and metal, and often contain hazardous materials. Electronics must be collected separately to ensure proper disassembly and recycling of their component parts.
Choose Zero Waste!
Try to repair your computer or laptop before replacing it. Repair services and resources are available in and around Washtenaw County, such as All Hands Active. If not possible, donating unwanted but still usable items instead of throwing them away or recycling them is the best way to ensure they get reused!

Apple accepts Apple devices for trade-in or recycling and you may receive credit towards a new device!
