Wire hangers are accepted for recycling as scrap metal at the Drop-Off Station and Recovery Yard. Wire hangers with plastic clips are accepted if the hanger is made mainly of metal.
Recycle Right!
Do not put wire hangers in curbside recycling carts. They can jam up the machinery, causing damage and delays and creating unsafe conditions for our workers.
Choose Zero Waste!
Wire hangers are reusable. Choose longer-lasting types of hangers, like wood.
