What To Do With Return to A-Z Guide

Kerosene

Kerosene is a hazardous substance and is accepted for proper disposal at Washtenaw County's Home Toxics disposal site.

Recycle Right!

Do NOT put kerosene or kerosene containers in your curbside recycling cart as it is extremely dangerous and flammable. The hazardous chemicals create dangerous conditions for our workers and could contaminate an entire load of recyclables, turning them into trash and not recycled. Dispose of kerosene safely at the Washtenaw County Home Toxics site.

Choose Zero Waste!

Try to minimize your use of kerosene.
