What To Do With Return to A-Z Guide
Glues
Glues, such as Elmers, paste, wood glue, and hide glue, are considered toxic substances and are accepted for proper disposal at Washtenaw County's Home Toxics disposal site.
Recycle Right!
Do not put glue or empty glue containers in your curbside recycling cart. The hazardous waste/chemicals create dangerous conditions for our workers and could contaminate an entire load of recyclables, turning them into trash and not recycled. Dispose of hazardous waste/chemicals safely at the Washtenaw County Home Toxics site.
Choose Zero Waste!
Follow the storage instructions to prevent your glue from drying out and avoid wastage.
