What To Do With Return to A-Z Guide

DVDs

DVDs and DVD cases are not recyclable and are not accepted in curbside recycling carts or at the Drop-Off Station or Recovery Yard. DVDs with cases that are in good usable condition are accepted for donation at some locations throughout the A2 Area Reuse Network.

Recycle Right!

DVD cases are made of a mix of plastic. Do not put DVDs and cases in your curbside recycling cart because they will contaminate other recyclables. Make sure that the DVD is playable before donating.

Choose Zero Waste!

Switch to streaming platforms or borrow DVDs from friends/family instead. Donating unwanted but usable DVDs is the best way to ensure they get reused.

While we do our best to stay updated on alternative reuse and recycling locations, we recommend that you call locations before taking your item(s) to confirm that they currently accept them.
