What To Do With Return to A-Z Guide

Mugs, drinking

Ceramic, metal, and travel mugs that are gently used, clean, and in good usable condition are accepted for donation at locations throughout the A2 Area Reuse Network.

Metal mugs that are broken and in poor, unusable condition are accepted as scrap metal for recycling at the Drop-Off Station and Recovery Yard. Metal can be infinitely recycled without losing quality.

Recycle Right!

Clean all mugs before donating them. Metal mugs are not accepted in curbside recycling carts but can be recycled as scrap metal. Metal can be infinitely recycled without losing quality, please don't throw metal items in the trash, recycle them instead.

Choose Zero Waste!

Keep and reuse mugs for as long as possible. Reusing is the best alternative to single-use plastic and other disposable cups. If a mug is not fit for beverage use anymore, try to find another use for it in your home, like for crafting, projects, or other storage.

While we do our best to stay updated on alternative reuse and recycling locations, we recommend that you call locations before taking your item(s) to confirm that they currently accept them.
