What To Do With Return to A-Z Guide

Audio equipment, working

Any audio equipment (microphones, CD players, tape recorders, amplifiers, sound boards, etc.) that is working can be donated to a local thrift store. Check out the A2 Area Reuse Network.

Recycle Right!

When donating electronics to a thrift store, they are screened for age, condition, and resale value.

Live Zero Waste!

Before buying the newest and greatest audio equipment, think about if you truly need the latest upgrade. Donate old items so they can find a home that is not the landfill!

Other Places These are Accepted:

  1. RadioShack accepts many types of audio equipment for recycling, call ahead or check their website to see if your product is recyclable here
  2. Staples accepts audio equipment and CD players for recycling at their in-store drop-off locations

While we do our best to stay updated on alternative reuse and recycling locations, we recommend that you call locations before taking your item(s) to confirm that they currently accept them.
